Mythic Seeds offers a deep study of European mythology and the spiritual and cultural treasures that they contain. We will look for the place where the Soul of the Story meets our own Soul. The Land will hold as we encounter the beauty of our longing, our grief, our joy, and the living Soul Story within us.
Myths are seed jars, waiting to be opened….ancestral seed savers. They are ancient indwelling stories that we rarely recognize as parts of our lives anymore yet they can guide us through harrowing times. People throughout time have lived with seeds. Seeds were life givers quite literally for the food and healing they provided but they were also spiritual allies.
Myths come from our ancestral beginnings, from every culture, and have been a guiding light for the people throughout time. These stories as they exist today still carry the vestiges of the old wisdom that are at the very heart of life.
These mythic seeds have been waiting for a people who still have a relationship with the Holy in Nature
and their ancestral origins, and have the capacity to grow a culture worth living for.
Imagine sinking into a liminal mythic world with a group determined to dive deep and to wander this magical landscape inviting stories to come alive in you. With our ears to the ancient ones, we will remember our part in bringing the world alive again...a crucial task in a time of so much loss and devastation.

To begin remembering our Indigenous belonging on the Earth back to life we must metabolize as individuals the grief of recognition of our lost directions, digest it into a valuable spiritual compost that allows us to learn to stay put without outrunning our strange past, and get small, unarmed, brave, and beautiful.
By trying to feed the Holy in Nature the fruit of beauty from the tree of memory of our Indigenous Souls, grown in the composted failures of our past need to conquer, watered by the tears of cultural grief, we might become ancestors worth descending from and possibly grow a place of hope for a time beyond our own.
― Martin Prechtel, The Unlikely Peace at Cuchumaquic: The Parelled Lives of People as Plants
Your guides, Stephanie MacKay and Jade Sherer, invite you to join them in a brand new experiential, land-based program that has been waiting for eons to be rekindled into Flame.
Out of the word germination comes the word “germ”. The germ is the embryonic life of a seed. The etymology of germ brings us to a deeper understanding of what we are
on the cusp of: “the beginnings of a new organism in an existing one.”
In some indigenous languages, germ, heart, and placenta are all the same word -
the germ is the spiritual heart of all life. These tiny holders of our origins, live inside stories as cultural seeds, in our marrow as ancestral memory, and in the plant seeds themselves.
During out time together, we will ask the cultural seeds of the stories to unfurl, while we also call to the seeds of ancestral memory that lie within us, and within the land, to carry our hearts into wonder.
We aim to create a rich and dynamic gathering, together as a group, in dyads, and alone. Stone overhangs and unique rock families will beckon to you as you will be invited to enact a 24 hour solo mid-way through the program.
Part of each day will be spent in deep exploration of the teachings within carefully selected mythologies, the rest of our time we will dwell in ceremonial time, council, dreamtime, guided visualizations, and more.
