In the past, I have only offered Mythology Club in the winter months, but this year something feels different. The stories are asking for more space, more time to be tende, and it doesn’t feel right to let this final story of the season pass by unremembered.
Tlepsh and the Lady Tree is a story I have loved for a long time. It speaks to a relationship between holy beings that is both beautiful and fraught with forgetting - a dynamic that feels deeply familiar in our own lives. It offers a rare glimpse into the mythology of the World Tree, the Blacksmith and their intimate relationship with creation itself.
This is a story that invites us into reflection on connection, memory, and the ways we come into relationship with what is sacred.
I would love to have you join us as we gather around this story together.
